Is training in the U.S. mandatory?

While helpful, it is not necessary.

Do I have to coordinate a patient’s travel, hotel accommodations and transportation?

No, that is coordinated through our partner relationships.

Do I have access to a healthcare professionals’ training information?

Yes, you will have access to education and training information of the healthcare professionals providing you care.

What is the quality of healthcare facilities?

IDN’s healthcare professionals are affiliated with facilities accredited by the Joint Commission International, Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), or the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAAFS). Many of the facilities have state-of-the art equipment and offer innovative procedures.

Will I be able to communicate with my doctor?

Yes, our healthcare professionals speak many languages.

Do I have to pay directly for my medical, dental or surgical services?

Some health plans and insurance companies now help cover the costs of healthcare services today. You will need to confirm directly with your health plan or insurance company.

Will I have access to my medical records?

Yes, healthcare professionals will have access to upload treatment care directly into your patient health record. This will allow for the coordination of consultations, pre- and post-operative care and follow-up.

Can my current doctor be involved in my decision making?

IDN encourages you to involve your home-based doctor to ensure appropriate follow-up care upon your return to your home country.
