- Kevin Faherty
Chief Executive Officer – Kevin Faherty began his career in the insurance business with the United States Life insurance companies, and for over 35 years has dedicated his life to this industry, developing particularly strong expertise in underwriting and marketing.
A natural leader, Kevin rose to senior executive level positions with Metropolitan Life, CNA Insurance, Continental Assurance, and Mutual of Omaha. As Senior Regional Director for Mutual of Omaha, he established a working relationship with the Sumitomo Group that served as the model for all future cooperation between insurers in the U.S. and Japan. His acumen for network building led to his position as President of Mutual of Omaha’s Mutually Preferred PPO network, a preferred provider organization with over 20,000 U.S. East Coast physicians. He also cofounded the Qualident dental network with over 4,000 dentists under contract in the New York/New Jersey area.
Currently, Kevin serves as President/CEO of several ventures, among which includes: New Amsterdam Marketing (NAM), a company involved in marketing medical products internationally, with exclusive marketing rights to ground breaking equipment in India, Chile and Turkey; Innovative Holdings Company, an organization that seeks acquisition opportunities in online finance; and National Benefit Builders Inc. (NBBI), the largest prescription drug card distributor in the United States (over 6 million prescriptions filled annually and $400,000,000 saved by consumers), a large wholesaler of discount benefit programs, and a service organization for thousands of insurance agents via NBBI’s proprietary web portal, The Toolbox.
It was in his capacity as President and CEO of NBBI that Kevin was introduced to the international healthcare industry, an option he recognized as a significant part of the medical future of the US. After an eye-opening visit to medical facilities in Costa Rica, it was clear he’d found the ideal base for a worldwide network of doctors. He and his board of directors agreed to fund the building of the International Doctors Network. Through MedAfford Global and its network, Kevin Faherty is poised to blaze new trails in how the US insurance industry interacts with the international market.
